Dr. Horowitz attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he earned his DPM. After residencies at St. Luke’s Children’s and Medical Center and Philadelphia General Hospital he set up private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to holding all three certifications offered by the ABMSP, Dr. Horowitz is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and the American Board of Quality Assurance & Utilization Review.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot Orthopedics, of the American Hospital of Podiatrists, of the American Academy of Podiatry Administration, of the American Academy of Podiatric Non-invasive Vascular Testing, and of the American College of Ambulatory Foot Surgeons. He is a Diplomat of the International College of Ambulatory Foot Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Sclerotherapy, Inc. He currently serves at the President of the ABMSP.

Dr. Salter earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by an internship at Grand Community Hospital (Kern Hospital for Special Surgery) in Warren, Michigan. Dr. Salter is currently in private practice with locations in Rochester and Southfield, Michigan.

He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Michigan State Podiatric Medical Association, and the Southeastern Division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. He holds all three certifications offered by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, and is a Fellow of the American Board of Disability Analysts. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hospice of Michigan.

Dr. Rehm graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California, followed by a residency at Jacksonville General Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He earned a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in High Risk, Insensitive and Diabetic Foot Care with Emphasis on Prevention of Lower Extremity Amputations from the U.S. Public Health Service and California College of Podiatric Medicine and participated in the Master’s Degree program in Medical Education, also at the California College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Rehm is a highly regarded speaker and author of numerous articles on topics related to podiatry and diabetic foot wounds. He currently works at the Diabetic Foot & Wound Treatment Center in San Marcos and El Centro, California as Medical Director and C.E.O. He is board certified by the ABMSP in Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds.

Dr. Fisher graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a Master’s Degree in Physics. Subsequent to that he attended the University of California at Irvine, earning a PhD before attending the California College Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco where he was awarded his DPM degree.

In addition to the three certifications he holds from the ABMSP he is a Fellow in the Academy of Ambulatory Foot Surgery, a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthotics and Medicine, a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, a member of the California Podiatric Medical Association, and a member of the Council for Nail Disorders.

Dr. Varoz earned his podiatric degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California, followed by residencies at Broad Street Hospital & Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Varoz is currently in private practice in Albuquerque, with emphasis on the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot and ankle wounds. He has staff privileges at Heart Hospital of New Mexico and Kindred Hospital of New Mexico.

Dr. Varoz is a Fellow of the Academy of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Surgery and in 2007 he was voted one of the “Top Ten Podiatrists in New Mexico” by his peers. He has earned all three certifications offered by the ABMSP, serves on its Board of Directors as its Secretary, and is currently the editor of the ABMSP newsletter.

Dr. Beth Pearce was graduated from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1982 and after her residency remained in northeast Florida. Her professional interests include risk management through communication, woman's foot and lower extremity ailments, as well as in biomechanical resolution of podiatric concerns.

She also acts as a consultant for many areas of podiatric medicine and practice management. She has provided expertise in product development and market analysis for a major supplier of foot and ankle braces. She has served as a governor appointed member of the Florida Board of Podiatric Medicine since 1999. Dr Pearce was first certified by APMSB (foot surgery and primary medicine) in June 1989, since then she also became board certified in the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds through the American Medical Specialties Board in February of 1998. She acted as the special liason between APMSB and the APWCA from 2001-2004. She is presently board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and is in practice in St. Augustine, Florida with a large Orthopedic practice.

Dr. Tiglio earned her podiatric degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where she was active in student leadership activities. Prior to attending Temple, she earned both a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Her post graduate training was at Loyola University Medical Center, Edward J. Hines Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, both in Illinois, and at Doctors Hospital in Boston, TX.

Dr. Tiglio is licensed to practice podiatry in both New York and Connecticut and is certified in Primary Care by the ABMSP. She has been published with articles with a variety of magazines and journals. As member of the Board of Directors she wishes to bring an enthusiastic and fresh perspective to ABMSP.

Dr. Kipp graduated from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine and attended Grace University School of Medicine where he obtained his MD; he later completed a residency at St. John Hospital MacComb Center.

Dr. Kipp currently holds board certification by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry in the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds and Foot Wear, American Board of Podiatric Surgery, American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Medicine and the American Academy of Wound Management.

Dr. Samuel Liebson is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He practiced briefly in New York and Boston prior to relocating to Ohio, where he has been in private practice for over 25 years. He holds all 4 ABMSP certifications, and has been active with the ABMSP board for over 20 years.

Dr. Liebson is also active with the AAFAS, currently serving as a both a board member and an instructor of minimal incision surgery at the Academy's cadaver surgery seminars.

Dr. Goldbaum earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. At present he is in private practice in Delray Beach, Florida. In addition to being certified by the ABMSP in all three of its credentials, he has helped write and validate items for use on its examinations.

Dr. Goldbaum is a Director of the National Association of Certified Diabetic Footwear and a consultant to the US Federal Medicare program on Diabetic guidelines for footwear manufacturing. He is a member of both the Florida Podiatric Medical Association and the Palm Beach Podiatric Medicine Association. Dr. Goldbaum has also been a frequent lecturer on topics pertaining to the lower extremities.

Dr. Stephen Permison is the Principal of Standards Based Programs (SBP), participating developer of the American National Standards Institute Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee and multiple product and personnel certification programs and accredited standards development organizations. He is the founder of the Federal Credentialing Program (FCP), the government-wide initiative to consolidate federal credentialing data into a standardized set of policies, practices and procedures for credentialing and their incorporation into a web-based credentialing system known as VetPro.

He is also the immediate past Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), one of the most comprehensive electronic healthcare personnel data systems in the United States. He has over 25 years of Government service in the Public Health Service forging strong relationships across government departments and outside entities. He has worked directly with such eminent leaders as C. Everett Koop and top standards organizations such as the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Most recently he has focused on the role of personnel and product certification and accreditation standards for biomaterials, national healthcare, homeland security, and emergency response.
