| Dr. Beth Pearce was graduated from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1982 and after her residency remained in northeast Florida. Her professional interests include risk management through communication, woman's foot and lower extremity ailments, as well as in biomechanical resolution of podiatric concerns. |

She also acts as a consultant for many areas of podiatric medicine and practice management. She has provided expertise in product development and market analysis for a major supplier of foot and ankle braces. She has served as a governor appointed member of the Florida Board of Podiatric Medicine since 1999. Dr Pearce was first certified by APMSB (foot surgery and primary medicine) in June 1989, since then she also became board certified in the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds through the American Medical Specialties Board in February of 1998. She acted as the special liason between APMSB and the APWCA from 2001-2004. She is presently board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and is in practice in St. Augustine, Florida with a large Orthopedic practice.

Dr. Stephen Permison is the Principal of Standards Based Programs (SBP), participating developer of the American National Standards Institute Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee and multiple product and personnel certification programs and accredited standards development organizations. He is the founder of the Federal Credentialing Program (FCP), the government-wide initiative to consolidate federal credentialing data into a standardized set of policies, practices and procedures for credentialing and their incorporation into a web-based credentialing system known as VetPro. |

| He is also the immediate past Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), one of the most comprehensive electronic healthcare personnel data systems in the United States. He has over 25 years of Government service in the Public Health Service forging strong relationships across government departments and outside entities. He has worked directly with such eminent leaders as C. Everett Koop and top standards organizations such as the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
