ABMSP would like to offer to all of their current diplomates the opportunity to save $100 off their annual dues by submitting at least 10 questions to the item bank.  The questions must meet the following requirements:

• Must be typed
• Must be multiple choice with one correct answer and 3 wrong answers
• Clearly label the correct answer using a * before the correct answer
• All questions must cite a reference
• Please indicate which examination the questions belong to (Primary Care, Podiatric Surgery or the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds and Foot Wear)
• Do not contain “all of the above” or “none of the above” questions
• Do not contain “fill in the blank” questions
• A good stem is stated positively rather than negatively (i.e., “Which of the following is a…” rather than “Which of the following is NOT a…”
• A good item stem avoids the use of the pronouns
