Security and Privacy

Maintaining the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Protected Health Information (PHI), in all formats is of the highest importance at the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. We are committed to providing a high level of security and integrity in our operations; standards that meet or exceed those required under the current HIPAA regulations.  The American Board specifically agrees to adhere to the Standards of Privacy and Security of Individually Identifiable Health Information published by the US Department of Health and Human Services Offices for Civil Rights (CFR 45 Parts 160 and 164).  To the extent that any information submitted to us (for instance, in case submission) contains PHI, please be assured that the American Board will comply with HIPAA and will execute a Business Associate agreement necessary for your records.
